Einova Ultra Fast Power Bank Review Verdict

Einova Ultra Fast Power Bank Review - On top of Acer Chromebook Spin 713

The Einova by Eggtronic ultra fast power bank is an outstanding portable battery charger. As the name suggests, the Einova does indeed juice up devices quickly. I plugged in my Samsung Galaxy S9+ Android phone and fast charging initiated immediately. Both its USB-C port and the quick charge USB-A were capable of fast charging.

While it came as no shock that the Einova was capable of charging my Android phone and tablet, I was cautiously optimistic about its ability to juice up more energy-intensive devices such as laptops. Using the included USB-C cable, I was able to charge up my Chromebook battery. However, charging larger electronics like laptops is limited to the USB-C jack. While the Einova ultra fast power bank’s USB Type-C host pumps out 45W, its quick charge USB-A port can only output 18W, with 5V 2.4A USB header sending out 10.5W of power.

Still, it’s impressive that the Einova 63W portable charger can handle laptops at all. Because of its massive 20,000mAh battery capacity, the Einova by Eggtronic is a fairly large device. Roughly the size of a small tablet, it’s a hefty power bank. Nevertheless, with dimensions of 17.1 x 10.2 x 1.6 cm (6.75 x 4 x 0.63 in) it’s slim and lightweight for the size. Build quality is excellent with water-resistant fabric on the front and back with soft-touch matte plastic around the edges. It’s sturdy and I had no qualms about chucking the Einova in a backpack or messenger bag.

Unfortunately, there’s no charging brick in the box. Granted, most folks (myself included) probably have an overabundance of wall chargers lying around. But another never hurts. The limited power output of the USB Type-A ports isn’t ideal – there’s a big drop from the 45W USB-C jack to the 18W USB-A quick charge header. Although, it’s great to have even one high-capacity charging port. In the end, the Einova ultra fast power bank is a superb portable battery charger capable of juicing up your phone or laptop, and it’s quickly become my go-to battery bank that I grab on my way out the door.

Since the Einova ultra fast portable battery charger sports a generous 20,000mAh capacity, it’s a large device. Measuring 17.1 x 10.2 x 1.6 cm (6.75 x 4 x 0.63 in), it’s unlikely to fit in most pockets unless you’re rocking cargo shorts. However, it’s fairly slender and remarkably lightweight.

Einova 63W Power Bank Performance Review

So how does the Einova 63W power bank actually perform in the real-world? Overall, it’s quite a capable power bank. Connecting my Samsung Galaxy S9+ handset to the USB-A quick charge port, the Einova was perfectly capable of fast charging my phone. The slower USB-A jack with its 10.5W output works just fine, although it can’t fast charge. And the USB-C port with its whopping 45W output was capable of charging even my laptop and Chromebook.

However, the 20,000mAh battery capacity can only take you so far. While the Einova is able to charge more demanding devices like Macbooks, it’s not a wall charger replacement. Depending on your battery level, the Einova may not be able to fully charge it. For instance, in a stress test, I turned my Chromebook off at 20% capacity, plugged in the Einova ultra fast power bank while it was at 100%, and let the Einova run all the way down. After that, my Acer Spin 713 battery was fully charged, but the Einova was completely depleted.

But a higher battery capacity would mean a larger footprint, and that’s where the Einova by Eggtronic excels – at delivering a power bank that can juice up even laptops in a truly portable form factor. And it’s not really fair to expect a portable charger to fully replenish a really low battery. For that, you’d need a full-fledged portable power station. So it’s a tradeoff: any more battery capacity and you’d have a heavier, bulkier portable charger. While the Einova isn’t a true wall charger replacement, it’s the next best thing.

Final Thoughts – Should You Buy the Einova Ultra Fast Power Bank?

Ultimately, I’m incredibly impressed with the Einova ultra fast power bank. It’s got enough wattage to charge larger devices such as tablets and laptops, an ample 20,000mAh battery capacity, three USB ports, and solid build quality. Despite its large size, the Einova by Eggtronic remains slim and lightweight offering a fantastic balance of portability and power. If you’re in the market for a portable charger that can handle virtually all of your electronics, the Einova ultra fast power bank is a phenomenal choice. If you need a wall charger for at home and on the go, consider the Voltme Revo 140.
