Often, noise-cancelling headphones come in large, over-the-ear form factors. But if you want something more compact, a set of earbuds is a better choice. The 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro wireless headphones fuse the compact design of earbuds with Bluetooth, active noise cancellation (ANC) technology, and high-res audio. The premium 1More Dual Driver active noise cancelling Pro earbuds are a must-have for serious audiophiles.
1More Dual Driver ANC Pro Wireless Headphones Specs and Build Quality
As the name suggests, 1More’s wireless high-res feature a pair of drivers per earpiece. There’s a 13.6mm dynamic driver rocking a titanium-composite diaphragm handling mids and lows coupled with a balanced armature tackling highs. This combination allows for a 20Hz to 40kHz frequency response capable of high-resolution audio. Build quality is top-notch and the 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro comes in a form factor mating a set of earbuds to a silicone-wrapped neckband. Slip the u-shaped band around your neck, pop the buds in your ears, and you’re ready to rock. Helpfully, the earbuds sport magnetic backing so they clamp together in a sort of necklace when not in use. Noise cancellation comes via four microphones that deliver up to 35dB of noise reduction. A wind noise resistance mode suppresses microphonics caused by wind.
The neckband is lightweight, so much so that I often forgot it was on. Still, it doesn’t feel delicate. An IPX5 water- and sweat-resistant rating means you can safely workout with the Dual Driver ANC Pro wireless earbuds on. In the box, you’ll find a selection of four differently-sized ear bud tips, a convenient carrying case, 3.5mm audio cable, and a USB-C charging cable. Its 20-hour battery juices up quickly, giving you three hours of playback off of a mere 10 minutes charging. USB-C connectivity not only lets you recharge the battery, but provides lossless audio playback when connected to USB devices such as PCs. Onboard, you’ll find Bluetooth 5.0 for fast data transmission over long distances. 1More provides support for the LDAC and AAC high-definition Bluetooth audio formats which, while lossy audio not lossless, boast high transmission rates. LDAC touts a whopping 990Kbps transmission rate, significantly higher than the 328Kbps SBC rate. Sadly, aptX isn’t supported.

1More Dual Driver ANC Pro Review
Sound quality is top-notch. Much like the 1More Triple Driver earbuds, bass performance is far stronger than you’d assume. Often, many earbuds lack good bass response, but not so for the Dual Driver ANC Pro buds. To test its high-res music playback capabilities, I fired up Tidal and selected some hi-fi audio. “Shiny Suit Theory” from Jay Electronica’s A Written Testimony oozed pleasantly. The ample audio elements were both distinct yet cohesive: Jay’s vocals were crisp and clear with drums perky, and applause peppered in as though you’re sitting in a crowd.
“X” by ScHoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, Saudi, and Kendrick Lamar from the Black Panther soundtrack proved a true test of the 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro’s bass response. And the 1More didn’t back down. The low end seriously slaps without overpowering. Rhyme spit over top of the bass-heavy backing remain intelligible, a testament to the Dual Driver ANC Pro’s ability to balance the lows, mids, and highs brilliantly.
John Lee Hooker’s “One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer” gushed beautifully. I was able to distinctly make out the drum hits, bass plucks, guitar twangs, and Hooker’s warbling vocals. Similarly, Grateful Dead’s “Friend of the Devil” danced happily in my ears. Guitar riff, drum taps, and Jerry Garcia’s vocals are each distinct, yet the acoustic elements stay at the forefront as intended.
I put the noise cancellation to the test by running a load of dishes while cooking in the kitchen as well as doing some work and typing on my mechanical keyboard (the Cherry MX Red switches in my Corsair K63 are pretty loud). Noise cancellation works incredibly well with a caveat: you’ll need to have the right sized ear tips in. Of course, this is crucial for getting top-notch audio quality as well. Low-frequency sounds are reduced. My air conditioning and the dishwasher were both diminished to distant whines. With music cranked, neither was very noticeable. When compared to my Tribit QuietPlus ANC wireless headphones, the Dual Driver ANC Pro performed decently, but not quite as well as the QuietPlus. However, it’s not quite fair to contrast over-the-ear cans with in-ear headphones. Suffice it to say that when it comes to active noise cancellation, the 1More offer best-in-class ANC performance when contrasted with other earbuds. Interestingly, I found bass performance better with ANC enabled, and enjoyed a richer, fuller sound with noise cancellation on. That’s not to say toggling off ANC provides flat sound, just that there’s a bit more warmth with it on.
1More Dual Driver ANC Pro Wireless Earbuds Final Thoughts – Should You Buy the Dual Driver ANC Pro Headphones?
So should you buy the 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro wireless in-ear headphones? If you’re looking for a set of truly wireless earbuds that don’t compromise on sound quality or bass response, the Dual Driver ANC Pro are a great choice that justify their $150 USD price tag. I was shocked with how well the ANC Pro sounded across whatever genre I threw at it. Everything from music to podcasts and even calls sounded spectacular. Active noise cancellation is superb, though not on par with over-the-ear or on-ear cans. But that’s not an issue unique to the 1More buds and instead universal among in-ear headphones. Bass response is surprisingly robust without being overpowering. High-res audio compatibility with AAC and LDAC support makes the 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro a compelling set of active noise cancellation wireless earbuds.
