The Dreame Tech T30 comes in a stick vac form factor. Boasting a 2,900mAh battery pack, it’s a completely cordless vacuum. There’s a carbon fiber rod and a flexible elbow adapter. Additionally the T30 comes with a 2-in-1 brush nozzle, soft dusting brush, mini electric brush, extension hose, LED crevice nozzle, and a smart multi-brush bar. The multi-brush bar is designed to connect with the carbon fiber rod for a more traditional vacuum to use on the floor, and may be used with the flexible elbow adapter between the carbon fiber rod and the dust canister. On the other hand, the mini electric brush, 2-in-1 brush nozzle, soft dusting brush, and LED crevice nozzle are made to connect directly to the vacuum without the need for the carbon fiber rod. But the soft dusting brush and 2-in-1 brush nozzle may be hooked up to the extension hose for cleaning tough-to-reach areas.

For LCD screens, keyboards, and fragile surfaces, the soft dusting brush offers gentle cleaning. Or, the 2-in-1 brush nozzle is great for picking up dust from various surfaces such as curtains, keyboards, and car interiors. A neat LED crevice nozzle allows you to reach tight spots such as in between the wall and a shelf or beside the oven where crumbs tend to fall. Outfitted with a pair of LED lights, you can see where you’re vacuuming even in the dark. Aside from cleaning attachments, the Dreame T30 comes with an extension hose as well as a flexible adapter. Dreame Tech T30 Wireless Stick Vac Performance Review

Stick vacs are pretty convenient with a lightweight frame and compact size that easily stows away. However, cleaning capabilities can be underwhelming. However, the Dreame Tech T30 delivers shockingly competent performance. Most of my apartment is carpeted, and that rug tends to act as a sponge for my dog’s hair. Even in Eco mode, the T30 had no issues sucking pet hair out of the carpet. Stepping up to Standard, the T30 caught even more grime, and in Turbo suction was absolutely fantastic. I was impressed with the T30’s ability to automatically switch cleaning modes on-the-fly by detecting changes in the dust levels. Similarly, changing from carpet to hardwood floors proved no issue whatsoever.

In addition to vacuuming the floor, I tested out the T30’s numerous attachments. Using the soft dusting brush, I zapped up all of the crumbs and bits of dirt which accumulated under the keys of my Corsair K63 wireless mechanical keyboard. The mini electric brush worked extremely well for cleaning my beloved living room armchair. And the 2-in-1 brush nozzle worked extremely well for sucking the dust off of the pre-filter in my Winix C535 air purifier.

Battery life is pretty solid. You should be able to completely vacuum a small to medium apartment or first floor of a house. Spot cleaning is a breeze. Bosting a HEPA filter, the T30 does a marvelous job picking up even large bits of dust, pet hair, and dirt. The dust bin is pretty large at 600ml and remains simple to open. Cleaning the washable HEPA filter is uncomplicated.

Should You Buy the Dreame Tech T30?

If you’re in the market for a cordless stick vac, the Dreame Tech T30 is the best option on the planet. Whereas many wire-free stick vacuums feature limited battery life and middling suction, the Dreame T30 doesn’t compromise. I had no issues vacuuming the entire floor of my apartment in Auto mode, Eco, and even Standard. Owners of larger homes may be a bit disappointed by the T30’s short battery life in Standard or Turbo mode. However, that’s a limitation universal to stick vacs.

Where the Dreame T30 really shines is for spot cleaning. Whether you need to vacuum the floor in a particular room, suck up spilled coffee grounds in the kitchen, dust off your computer keyboard, or clean behind furniture, the T30 is more than up to the challenge. Suction is exceptional, especially for a stick vac. Battery life is excellent with a high-capacity battery that’s still lightweight. The dust bin is large enough to avoid constant trips to the trach can in the middle of cleaning. And the HEPA filter is extremely good at trapping particles of dust and dirt.

The Competition – Cordless Stick Vacs to Consider

Dyson makes some of the best vacuums on the market. My daily driver canister vacuum is a Dyson Small Ball. For stick vacs, the Dyson V8 is a great alternative to the Dreame T30. Like the T30, the V8 comes with a bunch of different attachments. It’s reasonably-priced and high-performing with superb suction even on carpets.

On a budget, the Black + Decker Powerseries Extreme pairs a low price tag with fabulous cleaning capabilities. Likewise, the Hoover Linx is a solid cordless stick vac that comes in a more traditional upright vacuum form factor.

As an upgrade, the Dyson V15 is a high-end cordless stick vac. Sporting cleaning performance on par with many traditional plug-in models, the V15 packs tons of features such as a real-time battery life countdown, dust particle counter, and automatic suction. The Dreame Tech T30 is my top pick since it affords a pleasant mix of stellar suction, tons of accessories, great battery life, and features normally relegated to premium stick vacs.

Overall, the Dreame Tech T30 is an incredible cordless stick vac. With loads of accessories and features, it’s a good value vacuum. Cleaning is surprisingly solid, even rivaling that of my Dreame Tech L10 robo vac and Dyson Small Ball. Battery life in Standard and particularly Turbo mode leaves a bit to be desired, although that’s a universal shortcoming among all wireless stick vacs. The T30 pairs performance with convenience as the best stick vac that money can buy.
