What is the Dreame L10 Pro Robot Vacuum – Dreame Bot L10 Pro Specs and More
Dreame Technology makes a variety of budget-priced, high-quality vacuums including both stick vacs and robo vacs. Its L10 Pro is an intelligent robot vacuum capable of automatically cleaning your household. Onboard, the L10 Pro sports LiDAR, or Light Detection and Ranging, for remote sensing using light. Its LiDAR navigation lets the Dreame Bot L10 Pro avoid obstacles such as furniture, plug strips, and pets. With a scanning radius of 8 meters, the L10 Pro is able to recognize many common household objects such as power cords and thus clean around objects.
Boasting a powerful 4,000pa (Pascal Pressure Units) of suction, the L10 Pro delivers exceptional suction. For reference, 2,000pa is enough to lift a set of AA batteries. There are four different suction levels to pick from. Its 5200mAh battery yields up to 2.5 hours of operation time. A single charge can clean up to 250 square meters. With a 570ml dust cup capacity, the L10 Pro robo vac can run for a while without having to be emptied.
In addition to its vacuum functionality, the Dreame Bot L10 Pro doubles as a mop. A 270ml water tank and three water flow levels let the L10 Pro clean hard floors. While automatic cleaning works well, there’s 2.4GHz Wi-Fi built-in and a companion app that allows you to trigger manual cleaning, specify zoned cleaning, choose spot cleaning, or configure no-go zones.

Dreame Bot L10 Pro Robo Vac Design and Build Quality
With its slick black exterior, the Dreame L10 Pro looks stunning. A slight raised area holds its LiDAR sensor. Near the front of the unit sits a row of three buttons to indicate spot clean, power/clean, and a dock button. The middle power and clean button also serves as a status indicator that blinks white while the L10 Pro is cleaning or charging, and blinks orange in the event of an error.
A flip-up cover on the back of the vacuum conceals the dust bin. Additionally, underneath the cover you’ll find a Wi-Fi indicator, reset button, and a cleaning tool. Aside from the LiDAR laser sensor, the L10 Pro sports an edge sensor, high-precision 3D obstacle avoidance sensor, collision buffer, and cliff sensors. On the bottom of the robot vac, you’ll find a set of wheels, charging contacts for juicing up at the included wireless charging dock, and a side brush.
Build quality is fantastic. While you won’t want to kick the Dreame Bot L10 Pro or step on it, the sturdy frame doesn’t seem particularly fragile. Ideally, its array of onboard sensors will help to avoid bumps, but in the event of a collision, the solidly constructed L10 Pro will keep cleaning just fine. As such, you won’t have to worry about damage occurring to your robo vac.
L10 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaning Capabilities
Boasting vacuuming and mopping functionality, the Dreame Bot L10 Pro is a versatile little device. A mop pad pairs with its included water tank for cleaning hardwood floors. The dust bin can hold up to 570ml, so you won’t need to empty the L10 Pro out too frequently. Its 270ml holds a decent amount of water. While I found the water tank more than sufficient for my modestly-sized apartment with a mix of carpets and hardwood floors, that might be a bit measly for homeowners with a lot of hard floors and a bigger house to clean. Still, the dual-purpose L10 Pro can vacuum and mop for you, so even if you need to refill the water tank, that’s less work than busting out a manual mop.
Dreame L10 Pro Review – Is the Dreame Bot L10 Pro Robo Vac any Good?
Though the Dreame Bot L10 Pro undoubtedly has an impressive spec sheet, the real question is how well it performs. To test out the L10 Pro’s obstacle avoidance abilities, I intentionally didn’t pick up my apartment as much as I normally would have while vacuuming. Instead, I left some common household items scattered around the apartment: a pair of shoes, power cords, and chairs haphazardly pulled out from the kitchen table. The Dreame Bot L10 Pro had no issues navigating my apartment and recognizing various impediments.
You’ll find four distinct cleaning modes with increasing suction power: Quiet, Standard, Strong, and Turbo. Even in its default standard mode, the L10 Pro is pretty quiet and cleaned well. I did have to increase its suction to Strong or Turbo a few times to properly pick up some larger crumbs or a clump of dog hair. What’s more, it managed to clean fairly thoroughly. I’ve got a dog who tends to shed a bit and the carpet looked noticeably cleaner once the L10 Pro completed its tour de apartment. It had no issues transitioning between the carpeted sections and hardwood floors in my apartment.
Shockingly, my protective Dorkie, Sebastian, didn’t bark as the Dreame Bot L10 Pro. He mostly seemed curious and not overly fond of the robo vac as it roamed around the apartment, simply giving it a wide berth. As such, I can safely recommend the L10 Pro as fairly pet-friendly. Sure, your pets may be a bit wary of the Dreame Bot L10 Pro, but chances are the two can co-exist well enough. Upon its initial romp around your home, the Dreame Bot L10 Pro creates a map of your floorplan. Therefore, it can recognize various rooms. In the Mi Home app, you can make any adjustments or corrections, name rooms, designate zones, and more.
Aside from its vacuuming capabilities, the L10 Pro features a mopping mode. It works great and cleaned my kitchen as well as bathroom floors flawlessly. The included mop attachment features a microfiber cloth that you first dampen before attaching to a water tank. For the average hardwood or tile floor, the L10 Pro does a good job mopping. But for tough dirt might not come off as easily since the L10 Pro can’t quite deliver the elbow grease of a manual mopping.
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the Dreame Bot L10 Pro. While it might not completely negate the need for manual vacuuming or mopping, it works extremely well. Unlike many other robo vacs that require supervision, the L10 Pro successfully navigated my apartment using its onboard LiDAR and other sensors, avoiding obstacles and furniture when necessary and even cleaning under couches and chairs. I was comfortably able to continue working while the L10 Pro completed its circuit.
The highlight may be automated cleaning, but the L10 Pro provides tons of manual control as well. There’s a spot cleaning mode. And the Mi Home app lets you choose various settings, from correcting the topographical layout of your home to choosing a suction mode and selecting an off-limits zone. The Mi Home companion app is polished and user-friendly. You’ll find a bevy of customizations for both manual as well as automated control.
Unfortunately, the L10 Pro isn’t able to avoid carpets while in mop mode. As such, you’ll need to designate a mop area using the companion app. Don’t expect a deep cleaning in Standard mode. Though Quiet and Standard work well enough, Strong and Turbo are more comprehensive with improved suction. Obstacle avoidance is excellent, and the L10 Pro only experienced a challenge with a few tricky spots such as squeezing between a dog bed and the wall in one area.
L10 Pro Robo Vac Review Verdict – Should You Buy the Dreame Bot L10 Pro?
Although the Dreame Bot L10 Pro robo vac won’t do away with any chores, it will reduce the need to vacuum as regularly as normal. Running the L10 Pro a few times during the week means once the weekend comes, your floors are fairly dust-free. The strong suction is a huge advantage particularly for homeowners with carpeted floors. And outstanding obstacle avoidance means you can set the Dreame Bot to clean your home without supervision. There’s also a lot of manual control for spot cleaning, setting no-go zones, or scheduling clean-ups. While my dog may not have appreciated the Dreame Bot L10 Pro as much as I did, it’s a superb robo vac that can reduce your chores and doesn’t need to be monitored while it cleans.
